I built something with AI and don't know how to make it real
Lovable, Claude and the rest are genuinely good at getting you something that works in a demo. What they don't do is the part that comes next: putting it somewhere it can run properly, making it safe to hand real customer data to, and finishing the last stretch that keeps not quite landing.
Does this sound familiar?
- It runs inside the tool you built it in, and you can't tell whether that counts as being live
- You don't know if it's safe enough to put a real customer's details into
- You ask for the same change over and over and get back a slightly different app each time
- You're topping up AI credits every month and the app isn't getting any closer to done
What it costs to leave it
- Every top-up buys another attempt at a problem the tool can't see, on top of code it wrote yesterday
- The longer it runs unchecked, the more customer data sits somewhere nobody has looked at
- Launch keeps slipping by a fortnight at a time, and interested customers drift off
What good looks like
- Someone senior reads the whole thing and tells you plainly what's there, what's missing and what's unsafe
- It runs on hosting you own, at your own address, with backups and a way to push updates
- Sign-in, payments and customer data are handled the way a paying customer would expect
- You know which parts you can keep prompting at yourself, and which need an engineer
The job that fixes this
Fix & Secure an AI-Built App
We find what's exposed or broken, replace the passwords and keys that leaked, lock the database down so customers can't reach each other's data, and get the app back to something you can safely launch. Most rescues land between $700 and $1,200; small, contained ones start at $350.
